A Horse of Course!
My daughter is scared of so many animals and bugs, but she absolutely LOVES horses! She is a covid toddler... thus, she has been jipped out of many things due to COVID quarantine. This year will be her first year to have a birthday party! I really wanted to do something extra special for her, and different. After much thought I decided "a horse! Of course!" I contacted a local small farm who takes in many animals who have been miss treated and/or have disabilities and scheduled a time to come take photos of my daughter. She was beyond excited for this photo shoot!
Miss Anne, the owner of the farm, lovingly bathed and groomed her beautiful, 1-eyed horse named Star. I have only been around horses a handful of times in my whole life. I have very little experience with horses. Star is so sweet and gentile! She loves to be loved on. I got to give her a hug too. Miss Anne was wonderful to help and guide Star for this photo shoot. We got so many fantastic photos with and without Star. My daughter loved Star so much that she has since named one of her toy horses Star.
This was my first time ever working with a horse! It was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to do it again!
